Trek Route 

The Trek route starts with a short 35-minute flight to Lukla Airport, Nepal from Kathmandu. Lukla is popularly known for its charm. Best time for Everest view trek

Spring (March-June) and autumn (September- November): During spring and autumn, trails are busy and the accommodations are mostly packed. It’s the busiest season of all season. The weather and temperature are predictable and stable. The average temperature is 20°C, lower to -20°C. however, the accommodations like lodges, flights, and food are very expensive.

Monsoon (July-September) winter (December- February): Monsoon and winter are considered off-season for the trek in the Everest region.  The weather and temperature are not suitable for every trekker. The temperature can be 10°C to -20°C and even lower during the night.

Permit and insurance For Everest View Trek

The trip to the Himalayas is risky, back up with insurance for medical emergencies. Insurance helps travelers escorted in the helicopter to healthcare at a lesser cost. Permits are mandatory for trekkers to visit the Everest viewpoint or Everest region, especially the Sagarmatha National Parks permit and Khumbu Pasang Lhamu rural municipality permit. It can easily be obtained in Kathmandu or Lukla airport upon arrival.

Accommodation during Trek

Morning Delights: Start your day with warm Tibetan bread, fluffs chapatti with savory cheese, or omelets. Hot beverages like coffee and tea complete the perfect morning breakfast.

Lunch and Dinnertime Feast: Thukpa, a steaming noodle soup savors the flavor of Nepal. Dal Bhat is also an option, full of green vegetables like lentils, salad, and more.  For Western comfort pizzas, spring rolls and rice curry are also available.

Water: Water is your ongoing hiking partner, speaking about hydration. there are numerous opportunities to restock your bottle at lodges and stores. To make the most of natural sources, pack a filter or use purification tablets. Which costs probably 1-3 USD only.  While bottled mineral water is readily accessible, it might be expensive. Drink two to four liters of water a day minimum to keep your body hydrated and your excursions well-fueled.
